Good morning Vietnam!
My name is Zaid Alaa Darwish and I’m really honored to be serving as one of the chairs in this year’s Human Rights Council (HRC). This will be my second year chairing, alongside my co-chair, Careen!
As any boring teenage boy I’m into binge watching any tv show (The Office 4life) or movie that interests me, hanging out with my friends, listening to music (not rap please), playing video games, and nerding out on topics like Marvel, Spiderman, and uh-nee-mei (correct pronunciation for anime btw)!
About MUN, which is something that I am and have been passionate about for the last 3 years due to our excellent director Mrs. Katy Gamer. So, because of that I’m willing to provide every single one of you guys the best of the best and most enjoyable time during our conference and that you guys will leave with nothing but unforgettable memories, experiences, and passion for MUN like me. Therefore, I can’t wait to see what you guys bring to the table!

Hi everyone!
My name is Careen Dayoub, I am 15 years old, and I am so happy to be serving as the President of the Human Rights Council (HRC)!
My MUN journey began with my very first conference, where I was lucky enough to win the Best Delegate award. This experience made me more interested in public speaking, debating, and learning about different points of view. Since then, I have continued building my skills through MUN conferences.
Outside of MUN, I love sports, especially football, which I play at an academy. I also enjoy tennis, volleyball, basketball, and many other sports. Being involved in sports has taught me the importance of teamwork, discipline, and never giving up.
As President of the HRC, I hope to create a welcoming environment where everyone feels comfortable sharing their ideas, listening to others, and working together to find solutions. I encourage all delegates to stay open-minded, participate, and enjoy the experience.
I look forward to meeting you all and having an amazing conference together!
