Hello, I'm Mohammed Alshamsi, Chair of UNDP. I've been to nine MUNs and value clear debate but I'm still lenient with new delegates,  and  have practical ideas, and good energy. I'm outgoing and approachable, so speak up and enjoy the no committee.

Hii! My name is Aisha Abdelsamei, president of UNDP, alongside my partner Mohamed Rashed. UNDP focuses on the importance of global development and creating a better, more sustainable world for everyone. It is truly an honor to take on this role, and I am incredibly grateful for this opportunity thanks to Ms. Katy Gamer. Alhamdulillah. 

MUN has given me so many unforgettable experiences, from going to different schools, meeting inspiring people, building connections, and forming meaningful bonds. I’ve learned that MUN isn’t only about debating or defending your stance, it’s also about connecting with others on a personal level.  Thats something MUN has taught me, to be more social, confident, and definitely to not be afraid to speak up. 

A little about me, is I enjoy football (favoring Liverpool, of course), volleyball, playing Minecraft, chess, and arts. These are interests I’ve been able to bond over with delegates at conferences. You WILL certainly find your crowd, just like I did. But don't forget, you must have sabr, patience. 

I cannot WAIT to meet the delegates in the UNDP committee in May for Manor MUN, and it is my goal to ensure that you guys have fun, learn new things, and enjoy your experience with MUN while it lasts. Do not be afraid to speak, your voice certainly matters and is just as important as everyone else's. 

 I look forward to seeing many of you in my committee this year (Inshallah) and I wish the absolute best upon all of you. COME TO UNDP YOU WONT REGRET ITTT!!!
