Hey, I’m Mohamed Babiker, the leader of the UNESCO committee. I’m Sudanese, and this is my first year being in the MUN leadership team.
See you in May.
Hey there! I'm Yasmeen Osman, the president of the UNESCO committee. Cool, right? Our world is filled with so much valuable culture and heritage that must be preserved and protected for future generations, and this is where our committee comes in. It also involves the development of both science and education. It's a pretty diverse committee if I do say so myself. This is my second year in MUN and in MHIS. Last year, I attended a DIAMUN conference as a delegate and I chaired in MANORMUN. I've always loved speaking up and sharing my opinion on matters and it thankfully, MUN is the perfect opportunity to foster this passion.
Additionally, MUN helps you develop academically by improving your range of vocabulary and debate skills. It also supports you on a personal level by boosting your confidence and developing your skills in public speaking. Most importantly, MUN is a fun experience that would allow you to collaborate with others to come up with solutions to global issues. It gives you a deeper insight of the world that we live in and offers you an opportunity to be able to change it for the better. This is why I am honored to be a member of this team and I'm very enthusiastic to see where it will take me. Can't wait to see you there!
