Hello everyone! I’m Mohamed Hasabo, and I’m thrilled to be this year’s president of the best committee to ever exist (World Health Organization), alongside my co-chair, Haneen Osman. A bit more about me: while I’m not the biggest fan of studying, I absolutely love maths—it's my favourite subject! I may not be the funniest person or Kai Cenat, but I do enjoy playing football, and I proudly support Manchester United.
I've participated in MUN events before, but this is my first time leading a conference. I’m excited about the opportunity for us to learn together, engage in lively debates, make new friends, and have a lot of fun while building our confidence.
Public speaking isn’t my strongest power, but I’m here to improve my skills alongside all of you. I know many of you have different reasons for being here, so let’s make this an unforgettable journey for everyone. I’m delighted and honoured to serve as your president this year, and I can’t wait to see you all in MAY sigmas!!
Hello future delegates!
My name is Haneen Osman, this year’s president of the World Health Organization alongside my partner Mohamed Hasabo. This is my second year in Manor Hall and the first year as a part of the MUN leadership team and I couldn't be more excited and grateful for this opportunity.
I'm currently a tenth grader and the first time I’ve ever heard of MUN was last year, when I participated in the MANORMUN 2024 conference as a delegate for the Human rights council. That experience opened my eyes to the complexity of the global issues facing our world today. It made me realize the importance of understanding and respecting different points of views as well as just how big of an impact a single voice can contribute to solving them. The World Health Organization is a perfect example as it works to tackle health challenges around the globe, from fighting pandemics to promoting equality and justice in our healthcare systems, WHO does not disappoint! I’m looking forward to meeting you all and I can’t wait to see you in May!
